The Ocean Inspired Dream
I had a dream to start my own business as long as I can remember.
We grew up in this small coastal community. Our summers were always filled with long days at the beach. Family gatherings were plentiful and food was our love language. It was a simple and beautiful life.
When I went away to college for Fashion Design and Merchandising, I realized that I craved the sound of the waves. I took for granted the ease of walking down to the beach for a quick dip. Oh how I missed the sand in my toes and living in bathing suits. At the end of the day, I moved back home and began my retail career.
The Motion of the Ocean
2020! What a year it’s been. The world is changing and we must change with it.
Working with Ralph Lauren and Coach for nearly 20 years, I learned so much about lifestyle branding and iconic pop culture.
On the other hand, Sand People introduced me to the world of local artisans, island curators, and hidden gems.
Our brand is a blend of both of those worlds.
Who are we?
Introducing Classic Waves Boutique. We are an Ocean Inspired Lifestyle for Island lovers located in the heart of Kailua.
We curate timeless silhouettes, handmade jewelry, and feature gifts made in Hawaii.
The Big Things
Local artists are the foundation of our company values. They have our hearts, deserve our support, and we are enriched by their creativity. We enjoy discovering and sharing their stories. You will see that reflected in our handpicked selections and collaborations. One of the biggest life change I’ve made is coming back to work in my hometown. I was born and raised in Kailua and am exited and nervous to start a business here too.
One of the visions for this boutique will be about how we give back. Stay tuned as we get ready to share more about this.
