Kim Rand Art

I am a dynamic artist who has been painting for more than 35 years and who now calls Kailua home. Once in Hawaii I started painting on Truckers Hats, beach driftwood and mail boxes!

I have been known for my vibrant use of colors and mixed media techniques. I use acrylics, gold leaf, and oil sticks to depict colorful flora and fauna which creates vibrant abstract and semi realism paintings.

When not in the studio, you can find me spending time with my beautiful grandchildren and enjoying all that Hawaii has to offer.

Sacred Wave Hawai’i
I’m Anissa, the hands and heart behind Sacred Wave Hawai’i. Each piece I create is guided by the same rhythm that shapes the ocean — fluid, balanced, and endlessly unique. I knot every strand by hand with silk, choosing gemstones, pearls, and shells that echo Hawaii’s natural harmony.

What began as a personal passion has grown into a practice of connection — between maker, material, and wearer. These designs are meant to move with you, to remind you of the beauty in imperfection, and to hold the calm energy of the islands wherever life takes you.

Wear it as a keepsake of nature’s rhythm — a piece that feels as good for the soul as it looks on the skin.

Upcoming Workshops!

Saturday, Nov 8th 1-3pm at our Historic Chinatown location located at 1140 Bethel Street.

Aloha! I'm Aleta Corpuz, founder of Hoʻīlina Arrangements — where nature meets creativity!

My journey began during my graduate studies in Horticulture at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, where I discovered the beautiful Japanese art of Kokedama — a stunning way to turn plants into living sculptures using moss-covered orbs.

Fast forward to the pandemic, when everyone was craving more greenery and calm in their homes — I saw the perfect opportunity to bring my Kokedama business to life! I experimented with different plants, shared them with friends and family, and soon found myself selling at craft fairs and markets across the island.

Now, I’m thrilled to share this art with YOU through hands-on workshops where you’ll learn how to create your very own Kokedama masterpiece. No green thumb required — just bring your positivity and creativity!

Let’s get our hands dirty and grow something beautiful together!
