Last but certainly not least. A big thing happened last month! We were awarded Outstanding Business of the Year by the Kailua Chamber of Commerce. One of the reasons that I joined the Chamber is so I could meet other business entrepreneurs in Kailua. I will say what I have found is a family that I could ask questions, numerous shoulders to lean and cry on, and a network of senior businesses that could offer advice for every situation under the sun. I also found the loudest supporters who had my back over the years and who consistently cheered us on! For that I am forever grateful.
This award brought so much joy in a time where I’ve been overwhelmed, unsure, and tired. Owning a business is not for everyone and comes with lots of challenges and pivotal moments. This award means the world to us! Thank you for your continued love and support over the years. And big shout out to my awesome team in Kailua and Chinatown!
Cheers!
Lori

Deep beneath Na Mokulua is a beautiful mystery. She is hidden in the sky and floating beneath the islands in Lanikai. Growing up in Kailua I would imagine a mermaid as the outline of these iconic islands. Here is the magical world of our Local Mermaid.
